Eric Shulman

Managing Principal & Director of Transactions

Eric Shulman is a Managing Principal and Director of Transactions at Flying Horse Investments (FHI), where he is responsible for sourcing acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, and transaction management.  He is a founding partner of FHI and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Before joining FHI, Eric was Senior Vice President of Transactions at Westwood Financial, a fully integrated real estate investment firm with a portfolio of 119 grocery-anchored shopping centers, strip retail, and single-tenant net leased properties throughout the U.S., where he spent 17 years overseeing acquisitions and dispositions. During his time at Westwood, Eric handled sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and closings for the firm and handled leasing and asset management for value-add acquisitions. Eric has completed over $1.2 billion in grocery-anchored, value-add, multi-tenant and single-tenant acquisitions and over $900 million in dispositions, and he maintains extensive relationships and a stellar reputation with nearly every major retail real estate investment sales broker in the country.

Eric received a B.A. in History from Chapman University in 2005 and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
