David Chasin

Principal

David Chasin is a Principal at Flying Horse Investments (FHI), where he is involved in overall management and strategy of the firm and leads fundraising efforts. He is a founding partner of FHI and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

David also serves as a Managing Director at Pegasus Investments, overseeing all aspects of the firm’s investment sales platform and leveraging his relationships with investors, developers, property owners and retailers to arrange the purchase and sale of high-quality, stabilized, income-producing net leased retail properties throughout the country. David focuses on single-tenant properties leased to a range of users, including restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, car washes, convenience stores, clothing and apparel retailers, banks, gyms, and medical users. A seasoned veteran having completed over $3 billion in commercial real estate transaction volume over two decades, David leads a team of 35 real estate professionals dedicated to providing boutique advisory solutions with institutional pedigree and best practices. Pegasus provides advisory services to a wide range of clients, including family offices, high-net-worth investors, developers, institutions, national retailers, lenders and real estate professionals in the areas of acquisition, disposition, financing, management, leasing, and development.

Prior to joining Pegasus Investments in 2005, David was a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group at Universal Music Group, a division of Vivendi Universal, where he was primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer of North American Operations.

David received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California in 2004, where he was elected Senator of the Associated Student Body. Prior to transferring to the University of Southern California in 2002, David attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Political Science, Economics and Business Administration. David is active in various community and charitable organizations throughout Los Angeles, most notably the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. He has served as Vice Chair of the Real Estate and Construction Division’s dinner committee within the Jewish Federation and continues to play an active role within its leadership.
